For those of you who don’t know me – my primary life energy is Aliveness, which means I get movement in my life by starting. It looks a lot like start, start, start, start, start! When I feel stuck it usually is because I have shifted into my 2nd energy, which is Truth Life Energy. I think about things, then think about them some more, resist, then get willing which leads me to a start.
The reason I bring this up is because we each have a natural way to get movement and flow. We all have all three energies, but one will be primary and will be the primary driver. People with Aliveness Energy get movement with starts. People with Truth Energy get movement by getting willing. People with Workability Energy get movement by creating intention.
Here’a a little background about this post. I started it about a month ago and then saved it. This morning I got another start and here we are. I had been thinking, thinking, thinking about what I should say and then decided that I could go ’round and ’round like that for ever and it was time for a new start. This ties into judgments – will it be articulate enough, will it be perfect, and on and on. When I guide a workshop we talk about judgments and how recognizing them and shifting them is a cornerstone for living a purposed life. What I am showing you is that we continue to have many opportunities to recognize our judgments – it’s a facet of living a human life. Sometimes I have to laugh at myself as I judge myself for having a judgment, yikes! A key is recognizing a judgment and then even for a moment setting it down and moving forward. It feels much lighter!
